LOL :-) But I never had to be around any much, and now that Im an old goat, they can annoy me pretty quickly. It isnt their fault, but kids just never slow down. They make my head spin, and soon start hurting. Try to focus on something else until they quiet down. My trick is to find an itch somewhere on my body, and instead of scratching it, I focus on it. It keeps my mind occupied, as it gets worse and worse. I know it sounds silly, but it works for me. When it gets real bad, the kids dont bother me so much. I am blasting you with love, smoothing your spirit, and sending you lots of good energy. Example, my 10 yr old great-niece loves to come out and spend a weekend with me. However, yesterday when I should have picked her up, I just didn't have the patience it would take to listen to her prattle on and on. I even get tired of being called "Auntie Gloria" because I hear it sooo much when she's here.
