Guest guest
Hi Don,thanks so much!yeah I did learn this about the GP, she did know how to use the internet so I guess that is a plus.Yes I am on 3 different pain killers, I am not addicted, well I don't think so anyway.I am confused as I posted to teri how Hep C is preventable, I don't know enough to say it is or not, but I think there are things you can do to prevent it, but most of those are the same cautions for HIV I have heard, and that did not change most people(that I have met) behavior. Most coke does not make your nose bleed, some does but I can't really remember if people had nose bleeds yeah I have seen them, but rare. I used to mainly smoke it though. The reason why I am so anti-nutrition is I worked for one for 5 years, they were crazy!! they once told me all my medical problems are based on Nutrition and have nothing to do with Hep C or the treatment is not the problem it is Nutrition. If I could find somebody to help with Nutrition without making it into a scientific research Thesis maybe I would not hate it so much. Example, if I get 20 mg too much or little of something take sodium, protein, carbs whatever it is a crisis that will make the world stop spinning. They made me crazy you have to measure everything and know everything you eat down to the mg or whatever, everything needs to be document including calories. I think that Nutrition people are f****ing crazy!!They said they could solve my insomnia with Nutrition and vitamin supplements, it did not work, know they think they can cure Hep C with the same approach. I gave up on insomnia, I just don't ake u in the morning and I see no reason why I should have to. I am close to giving up on the rest of the doctor, but I am not there yet.I did talked to the office on Friday told them about all this, and told them I hope whatever they plan to do works, because nothing else is. I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown as all the health people I talk to here are psychos.I am really sorry for being negative I don't mean to be. I am going into this new phase with an open mind and I hope they can help.thanks,nyOn Jan 15, 2011, at 3:06 PM, Christ wrote: Hi No, it is not unusual for a GP to know little about HCV. I went to jail in 1987, and when I came out I lived a clean life, drug wise anyway.Again they asked me how I got Hep C, I told them only GOD knows for sure, but they said you can get it from sex and snoring coke by sharing straws. I had to explain, okay maybe possible, but I don't think so as HCV is transferred by blood, point is no blood no transfer no HCV! I was also told that Hep C is preventable, somebody needs to explain this one to me.All in all I did not leave feeling that great about the whole thing, and don't believe there is any miracles out there, but I am willing to try and go into this with an open mind. This is one of those "Intergraded Health" things, maybe you heard about them combining medical with spitrual stuff.I was told regardless what I think stage 4 HCV is serious and can increase to higher stages if not careful. Guest guest
ny,People that snort coke tend to have nosebleeds... bad ones. They use a straw and there is some leftover blood in the straw or the rolled up bill.. they pass the bill or straw to the next person, they inhale both the coke and the possible dried or not dried blood carrying the HCV virus. It happens a lot. Especially with a rolled up bill cause nobody unrolls the bill to see the blood on the inside of the roll. People that are doing coke this way don't tend to each have their own straws.. they tend to pass one around. It's as bad as sharing a needle. And yes, now that we know HCV exists it is much easier to prevent it.. but in years past, when we didn't know that sucker was out there... we didn't even know HIV was out there. Hope that clears that part up for you..Hugs,TeriOn Sat, Jan 15, 2011 at 10:13 PM, Barrett <barrjohnm@...> wrote: Hi Don,thanks so much!yeah I did learn this about the GP, she did know how to use the internet so I guess that is a plus.Yes I am on 3 different pain killers, I am not addicted, well I don't think so anyway. Guest guest
nyI understand exactly what you mean!! There just simply no way that I could or would follow such a strict regime. As soon as my crazy life slows down again, I am going to get back to juicing. Then I'll know that I'm getting that nutrition from veggies and fruits. You'll never get me to measure anything. Hell, Canada changed to the metric system decades ago and I still can not convert to mg's or kg's and that crap.Gloria Hi Don,thanks so much!yeah I did learn this about the GP, she did know how to use the internet so I guess that is a plus.Yes I am on 3 different pain killers, I am not addicted, well I don't think so anyway.I am confused as I posted to teri how Hep C is preventable, I don't know enough to say it is or not, but I think there are things you can do to prevent it, but most of those are the same cautions for HIV I have heard, and that did not change most people(that I have met) behavior. Most coke does not make your nose bleed, some does but I can't really remember if people had nose bleeds yeah I have seen them, but rare.
