Guest guest
My phone battery is dying. If I don't get to say it later, Good Luck to all. May this weeks shot be gentle on each one. http://facebook.com/people/andTrudy-Kinsey/1340460877 " " A well- behaved woman never made history " ...Mae West http://oktravels.wordpress.com http://allrecipes.com/cook/TrudyK/profile.aspx
Guest guest
I love my iPhone. Fortunately I am just about able to press the button, however I know Alana was working on a way to avoid having to press the button on hers so I imagine she will soon be along to share how she got on. I am considering switching to one through my cell phone provider but I am concerned that I will not be able to use it. Specifically, the problem that I fear is when the phone goes idle it requires that a button be pressed and I lack the strength to press that activation button. Does anyone know if there is a way to circumvent that procedure? Perhaps " there is an App for that " . Someone also mentioned that Apple has an assistive technology department that may agree to help out. Any insight would be greatly appreciated because I really need a new phone and would like the Iphone. Thanks
Guest guest
i use iphone too – for almost a year now. it`s super comfortable to use and the Home button is easy to press. but i think there`s possibility of not letting the phone go to sleep mode. though you must know that iphone 4 is quite heavy. hugs, patie From: santino Sent: Wednesday, June 01, 2011 6:13 AM Subject: Iphone Greetings, Does anyone here use an Apple Iphone? Guest guest
Thank you for all of the insight regarding the Iphone.  It sounds like it might have to be a trial and error phase until I determine whether it is functional for me.  Can I ask what you mean exactly by gluing a bolt to the button.  How exactly did you determine that would work and does that damage the phone in any way?  From: althegrrl <alanarutht@...> Subject: Re: Iphone Date: Thursday, June 2, 2011, 7:58 PM  I, too, used double-backed tape to stick a bolt to the Home Button like Jade. It helps a lot. When I've tried to contact the Accessibility Assistance people at iPhone they never got back to me. I lock the phone so it never sleeps, keep it plugged in when I'm at home, and dim the screen to reduce battery use when I'm out and about. The jailbreaking and adding the virtual home button was wonderful, but impossible to maintain because of the constant iTunes updates. My next phone will be an android and I will jerry-rig a lever for the power button. The Evo3 has a toch screen home button. I'm sure there are others too. I hate how tempermental the iPhone software is. Alana > > > Greetings, > > > > Does anyone here use an Apple Iphone?
