Guest guest
Oreo passed away at 1 this afternoon. I knew I was buying time but there was no doubt that he wanted to leave today. We went through a lot together and although I am in deep grief right now, it also brings me relief to know that he is finally free from a body that was breaking down more everyday. Sometimes nothing seems to work, ya know. And God knows I tried everything humanly possible. I have no regrets, only sadness. He was my special buddy. Guest guest
Oh Gloria, I am so very sad. Oreo will be in my thoughts during my quiet time. I'm going out into the sunshine with Ziggy and I'll share your grief with him. Animals are so cool about the afterlife. Zig will know how to connect and say farewell to Oreo for you. You did way more than I could ever have handled with a pet. Even one so special. You are revered by passed pets. Special loving hugs to you - Shari
Guest guest
Dear Gloria, I am so sorry to hear of Oreo. I know she was your dear friend. I can only say that I hope that your hear will soon mend. I know it is hard to even think of mending right now, when one might feel the need to be griefing. If you don't mind, might I suggest Star of Bethlehem (perhaps you know someone with a basic remedy kit...that would be obliging) or, of course Rescue Remedy. Kit " Star of Bethlehem (Ornithogalum unbellatum) is one of the Bach Flower Remedies in the Rescue Remedy. It is the remedy for the after-effects of any shock, such as unexpected bad news or an unexpected and unwelcome event. And it can be used just as well for the effects of a shock received many years ago, even very early in childhood. This is also the remedy for the sense of emptiness and loss that sometimes occurs when a loved one dies or moves away, since this too can be a great shock to the system. Star of Bethlehem is the comforting remedy to give in such circumstances. Dr. Bach's Description: For those in great distress under conditions which for a time produce great unhappiness. The shock of serious news, the loss of some one dear, the fright following an accident, and such like. For those who for a time refuse to be consoled this remedy brings comfort. Guest guest
Oh Gloria, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know it is hard. but rejoice that Oreo had a wonderful life and know that God needed him more than you.. He had more work to do. And you will see him again. It sounds like he knew it was time to move on. What wonderful memories you will always have. SuziMorningGlory113@... wrote: Oreo passed away at 1 this afternoon.
