Guest guest
Teri,I told the doc that the only antidepressant that didn't make me tired was wellbutrim. So I got that with xanac so level it off. It did, and I stopped smoking, but eventually it made me tired. Is that strange, first I was speeding, then I would level off with the zanny then it just stopped working. It has been since September I stopped smoking, so right when I took the wellbutrim it worked. But it isn't working any more so I stopped it. It was making me tired. That is so weird. I hope I dont start smoking, we'll see. I haven't gained weight either which is pretty nice too I know when u stop u can gain a ton of weight but I haven't yet. Hmm, let's see what happens now, I think it was making me paranoid and moody.sharonFrom: Beth Frey <bethfrey42301@...> Sent: Thu, January 6, 2011 7:17:24 PMSubject: Re: [ ] Smoking - don's 2 cents Yep know what you mean, I dated a guy for 8 yrs. He quit smoking and was always nagging me in fact the last straw of our relationship was when we went to the smokie moutains. hiked for 8 hrs and then the grand fianle the clingmans dome. The brochure gave warnigs due to the altitued and to take breaks. Well about half way up I had to sit down and catch my breath. He started in with the smoking was why I had to sit down. then I poped off about it being the reason why he wanted to do the hike was to prove a point on why I needed to quit smoking. Come on I was a trooper hiked for 8 hrs. I took a break and sat on a bench provided by the park to rest. It was his way of trying to make a point to me on how I needed to quit smoking. Needless to say I puffed all the way home 4 hrs later and a pack shorter. FYI, I quit smoking September 14th I was on Wellbutrin. Never got the urge again to smoke. Try it. My husband smoked for 35 years and quit it's been almost 3 years he went on Chantix. The stuff works if you take it as directed. I quit before for 10 years on my own. I wasn't a big smoker. But when I was popping perks I wanted to smoke that's why I started again, when I herniated my back they gave me percosets. Hmmmm, it is strange because my husband now found that spot on his lung that they have to look into. He said he thinks because he stopped smoking it unearthed something on the lung?? I think subconsciously, your body is telling you to stop because their is something wrong? My take. Because when people stop they find a problem. But they can't figure out why? sharon Reply to sender | Reply to group | Reply via web post | Start a New Topic Messages in this topic (42) Recent Activity: New Members 7 New Links 53 Visit Your Group
