Hi RJ

It looks to me that Interferon does contain thimerosal which is an organomercury compound.

This compound is a well established antiseptic and antifungal agent.

Here are some links to look through.

- interferon ingrediants

http://search./search?ei=utf-8 & fr=slv8-tyc7 & p=interferon%20ingrediants & type=

- interferon + thimerosal

http://search./search?ei=utf-8 & fr=slv8-tyc7 & p=interferon%20%2b%20thimerosal & type=

- thimerosal

I have to go see the doc or I would do more searches for you, but look thru this stuff.

Does any one know of mercury/or thimerosal being in the Interferon vials for Hepatitis Treatment. I was wondering if any one out there heard of any information on this concern. RJ------------------------------------

If you are correct in your assumption, that is not good (mercury) . We need to

verify you guess. I took a brief look at you links and did not see anything

clear. I will need to read more into them. Lets find out, Thanks

Hi Teri

Mercury can be a deadly poison.

I think that is what RJ wants to know.

If it is in the Interferon, [which it seems to be], that could be cause for some concern.

RJ

If you eat any seafood, or drink city water, I believe your also consuming a lot of mercury.

I read someplace awhile back that most of us already have a lot of mercury in our bodies.

Mercury is one of those elements that is NOT thrown off by the body.

It lingers in our bones.

I wouldnt say no to HCV TX because of this issue, if that is your concern.

We are being blasted each day with poisons in our air, water, food, and enviorment.

Like Strontium 90 is in everything green from the Atomic Bomb tests of the 50's and 60's.

It will be there for 10,000 years+ - [HALFLIFE].

Theres not much we can do about it, no matter how hard we try.

Thats just my opinion.
