Guest guest
Hi Gloria, It is a mess!!! Get an attorney on the mobile!!! The "JERK" is trying to screw you. Have the man who repaired it put a mechanics lien on it. Then have the attorney draw up an agreement between you and the man who repaired it about that lien. I DID go to court on behalf of my grandchildren after my son died. Have the attorney explain YOUR rights about all this mess--like the bill for the funeral--the mobile etc. Having a clear cut knowledge of what you can and cannot do REALLY reduces the stress. Glad you found the paperwork on the mobile. I try to be fair in all my dealings AND that includes being fair to myself. When I get too emotionally involved, I back off and let an attorney deal for me. Sounds like this may be one of those times for you. You need someone there on your side to help you through all this, Let go of the things you can't change and get to work on the things you can. Sound familiar???? And if you don't have the wisdom to know which is which--get an attorney who does know. I've been there--it is NO fun. Try to stay healthy and don't worry about what others think or do.
