Rod, My hubby had HIV and did his best when he juiced twice a day. He did so great! I think because its easier for the liver to process. He was on diff drugs , it was so long ago. Most important for u is to Eat GOOD and drink plenty of water, the 2 things we all should do with or without disease but is easier said than done. Also i feel that when he allowed the depression to take hold he felt worse and it was extremly hard to get back up again. I felt that way during tx for hcv. They say a positive attitude is 90% of the battle. They have to tell u all of the sides to cover themselves doesnt mean you will experience all of them. Each body is diff. Best of luck to you. Stay strong!!!!!!! Betty

Hi all,I'll be starting my HIV drugs soon and want to see if any of you have any precautions about them and the liver. I know that some can be more toxic to the liver. I have HCV too.Ill take a combo (Combivir) of Lamivudine and Zidovudine twice a day, don't know dosage, and Efavirenz at bedtime. I checked out possible side-effects and I cried! A friend reminded me that indeed they might not happen, so that helped put it in perspective. I do know the things that I will need to be looking out for in the future. If any of you have any experiences with these drugs, good and bad, I "think" I'd like to hear about them. LOLOL! It's scarry, but then most of you, it seems, have lived with a lot of fear! Thanks much, and here's to your health and happiness!Rod

Thanks, Teri and Don!!!!! I'll print up the list of DO's - things to remember

and post them where I can see them. You all are just so incredible in your

willingness to support and love others! I'll be in touch. I just sent another

to Betty, about water! THe cardiologist said less water! Geez!
