Guest guest
I think there is a book title in there somewhere..." I have danced with the Dragon " , ...nope that's not it..." Sometimes( just not in the winter ) I will go 2-3 weeks without pain pills. Oh I am in pain , just sometimes I can tolerate it better. This is what I got perscribed to me since there are no more Darvon. And the Darvon didn't work for me. It didn't touch my pain. FYI to the women in the audience ( okay, Don and Steve y'all go do some male bonding or sumthin'). I am having my first ever mamogram in the morning. Does it hurt as bad as I think.. remember our pain sensitivity from Fibro. Non-Question #3: this has been a very hard week. No stregnth at all. RBC & WBC tanked. Just trying to get up from sofa or recliner makes me nasueated from the effort. But even tho I know things won't get better immediatly, I have noticed that I am taking interest in things I used to do. Can't do 'em yet, but looking forward to this next step in the journey. Guest guest
Hey there lady! The weather was awesome! It was so much warmer in DC than it was here... Ahh.. questions.... Question one... once you test undetectable for 6 months after treatment ends you will be able to say " I HAD hep C " I also use the term " survivor " or you can say CURED! All work... Do you still need to let care givers know? Not so much.. I don't bring it up anymore. Your current doctor should always know that you've had it so he can test periodically just to be safe. Question two... Hydrocodone? That's Vicodin or Norco. It's what I use. Mammogram? uhm... well, uh, ya see, it's kinda like this... uhm, well.. never had one.. shut up. I know. Question three... take it easy.. it will take time for those numbers to go up. Blood volume repairs quicker with FOOD too... Corn dogs are not conducive to red blood cell production... burgers are better! I'm glad your mind is already healing... it's a great start!Hugs,Teri On Thu, Jan 20, 2011 at 11:29 PM, trudykinsey@... <trudykinsey@...> wrote: Hey, glad your home ! Guest guest
Trudy, I have annual mammograms and they're not too bad. Mostly pressure for a few seconds they do several differant angles. I have fibro and tolerate them well. Teri shame on you for never having one done yet. Get your butt in there and have it done. Debbie > > Hey, glad your home !
