Guest guest
This is good news, but I wonder what the side effects are that will come with this new drug. Hopefully the sides wont be much different or worse. And maybe if it will shorten our treatment time to 26 weeks, there will less of a chance for long term adverse lingering health conditions. All in all this is a giant step forward, maybe doubling our chances to cure. Now maybe some non-responders can clear the HCV too. I pray that it saves lives......like mine. I hope too, that my heart doctor will give me the go ahead to treat by this fall. I guess I will have to wait and see. Im scared, but don's gotta do what don's gotta do. love don in ks News 7 new results for hepatitis c FDA awards Vertex speedy review for hepatitis C drugBizjournals.com“We look forward to working with the FDA and Health Canada to make telaprevir available as quickly as possible for people with hepatitis C.†Vertex is ...See all stories on this topic » Case Notes - Hepatitis CBBC NewsExperts at Europe's largest liver transplant unit, at King's College Hospital in London, explain how vague symptoms help to keep hepatitis C 'hidden' inside ...See all stories on this topic » Vertex Pharma's Hep C drug gets priority reviewReutersO) said its experimental treatment for Hepatitis C got priority review status from health regulators in the United States and Canada. ...See all stories on this topic » HCV+ Kidneys Safely Go to HCV+ Recipients?MedscapeToday I want to talk about a recent study that provides long-term outcomes in organ recipients who were hepatitis C-positive and received organs from either ...See all stories on this topic » Oshawa residents cautioned about potential exposure from tattoos, piercingsNewsdurhamregion.com"But, there is a risk of transmission of hepatitis B and C, and HIV, because of the use of possibly non-sterile instruments at this service. ...See all stories on this topic » U.S. FDA and Health Canada Grant Priority Reviews for Telaprevir for the ...Business Wire (press release)Telaprevir is Vertex's lead medicine in development for people with genotype 1 chronic hepatitis C.
