I hate this weather so bad! I should be thankful we haven't had more snow. I am doing well, this Friday is week 23 for me. I am almost halfway there. I am losing my hair in clumps, ugh its crazy! I actually have had no side effects in about 2 months. I take my shot on Friday night and then I take 2 advil and an ambien to sleep and I can actually do things on the weekends now. Still taking the procrit which seems to be working for my anemia. All my blood work looks great and if I am still undectable at my week 24 doctor visit she said she is confident that I will achive SVR!! My daughter had her liver biopsy two weeks ago and I don't know the results yet. I am making her appt at the same time as my week 24 appt so that so that I can be there when she tells us the results. Its very hard for me to take off more than once a month with me doing daycare, so I will know the results of my visit and her biopsy the second week in Feb. I will be sure to let everyone know. I have been undetectable since week 4.( I'm the " easy " type 2 ). This week is 17. I think the Doc & I agree it's time to stop tx. I just have too many other things going on. Wish I had been given Pro crit . Or now a transfusion. Dr probably won't since I'm quitting . And wouldn't you know it my hair had thinned A LOT , but now with the end in sight, big clumps comeing out. Figures. So when do y'all think your daughter will start tx ?Oopps, gotta go.. As long as you haven't murdered on of your daycare kids - you are doing OK.Don't know if you have short hair or long; however, I finally had to have my baby fine hair cut really short on my 1st round of treatment. That one, I had the hair loss and not the weight. Then, I went in and had it cut off just before starting the clinical. Guess what? I lots 30 lbs and no hair fell out. The good thing to know, is that the hair will all grow back. Mine grows really slow and I still have to put products in it, to even come close to an actual hairdo.
