Guest guest
Hi We have a chain over here in Perth called ' City Traders '. They specialise in bulk home gardener and pet supplies. I bought a 20 kg bag there a couple of years ago for $25. paul _._,___

Guest guest
Hi Maree, Thanks for that reference to Santos re the epsom salts. Just ordered 25 kg for $60.00. That's 2.40 a kilo I think. Cheap! Guest guest
Hi Why do you want to eat 25 kgs of epsom salts ? paul ( Perth )
Guest guest
Jeepers Creepers , not sure if you're joking with me or not. I wasn't planning on eating the epsom salts. Was planning on bathing in it. Buying it by the box at the chemist or supermarket is really expensive as you would know. I have heard of people drinking it for a clean out, but that's not for me. Bye for now, > > Hi > > Why do you want to eat 25 kgs of epsom salts ? > > paul ( Perth ) > >
Guest guest
Sorry I did mean to provoke a response because I was concerned that you may want to ingest quantities of Mag Sulfate but based on the discussion being on food grade. I can highly recommend epsom salt baths and in fact had one last night. I would however warn against using it internally for either cleansing or supplementation as there are far superior alternatives. In my opinion, food grade epsom salt for baths might be an overkill. commercial grade is fine and I've been using it for years. paul_,___

I do not know of any difference. I buy a bag at the local drug store and it is labelled " magnesium sulfate " and that's all.
