Guest guest
Re probiotics, see Orthoplex's Multiflora, available through bioconcepts (http://www.bioconcepts.com.au/index.php?p=products & product_id=71). There's a link on the side for distributor's in your state, but I think it's practitioner-only product so you may need to find a naturopath or wholistic GP to order it for you. > > Hi Bee, it's been 7 months completely on the diet now. Guest guest
Hi and Bee, I have been on Bee's diet for a little over a month, but have been on a yeast free diet (very similar-except I had to take out nuts from my diet) for about 7 months too. I have started this for oral candida and worry becuase sometimes it get's much worse for no reason. I have heard that oral candida is usually the first to clear up, and you say it's the last- is this what Bee has stated? I am worried that I will never be able to taste foods fully again and this taste in my mouth is so frustrating. What have you found to help with the oral candida? (I use coconut oil, clove oil, baking soda, nystatin) But I still have a long way to go. I feel so discouraged when I have setbacks becuase I have not cheated on my diet at all. Please share your experience. Thanks, Heidi nathan_kellett <nathan_kellett@...> wrote: Hi Bee, it's been 7 months completely on the diet now. After my initial rapid improvements I documented months ago (based on what I thought to be a 2 or 3 year candida infection) I have come to realize that my infection has been for much longer, perhaps, like many of us, from birth. I am happy to say though, that your plan is indeed working, i am extremely diligent and haven't cheated in 7 months. A lot of my symptoms have subsided, but i am still battling the classics (oral thrush, which i know is one of the last to leave). Several months ago i was taking raw garlic and coconut oil, however i stopped garlic and have since only been taking coconut oil, i take 6 tablespoons or more a day now and do not get die-off reactions. As a result i have decided to proceed to the next step, that is adding another anti-fungal (the Now brand Clove oil is in the post!). Is this a sensible step to take at this point in the program? My concern however is the step after that, being probiotics. In Australia we have a VERY limited number of dairy-free probiotics (as few as 4 i think!), and furthermore, i believe all of them (still researching 1 brand though) have some sort of 'rice flour' base (which of coarse is not mentioned on the label and you have to research online to discover). My question is, are these rice flour based probiotics ok? i mean obviously it would be better to take them without rice flour, but with such a limited choice i am feeling pressured to do so. Is it safe to import probiotics??? or does the shipping/xrays etc damage the flora? I know you will recommend saurkraut but i am hopeless at following instructions, hopeless in the kitchen, and hopelessly impatient. Also a question i have always pondered... Does our body 'produce' good bacteria? Meaning, if i decided not to take these rice-flour probiotics and just plug away at the anti-fungal program and diet, will i eventually recover, or will it be a constant battle against candida overgrowth? My apologies for the length. Bee, you do such a wonderful job. Kind regards, . --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search. I'm so happy the plan is working!! > A lot of my symptoms have subsided, but i am still battling the classics (oral thrush, which i know is one of the last to leave). Clove oil is less expensive than oil of oregano, and garlic gives off garlic breath. > > My concern however is the step after that, being probiotics. Yes zapping with radiation or x-rays does damage probiotics. You would have to check with the specific carrier as to whether they zap their shipments or not; some do and some don't. ==>Yes, the best probiotic is cabbage rejuvelac. My brother, who is 60 years old made two batches of it as soon as he got the recipe, and they turned out great. It was during summer so he realized his cabin would be too hot, so he put the jars in his camper trailer which was cooler. It isn't hard to make once you done it once. Over time it becomes very routine as well. > > Also a question i have always pondered... Does our body 'produce' good bacteria? In fact you could do only the diet and supplements, and no antifungals and no probiotics, and you would still become healthy. The key is " nutrients " which will give the body what it needs to " heal itself. " > My apologies for the length. ==>No problem . > > Bee, you do such a wonderful job. ==>Thank you my dear friend. Keep on keeping on and you will succeed! The best always, Bee

Many members of this group have followed other diets without success and that is mainly because they do not get the high " good " fats the body requires in order to cleanse, construct the cell membranes properly, and to aid digestion, and provide many other benefits good saturated fats do. As you progress your body will re-trace previous episodes with mouth thrush (oral candida) as well, which is according to Hering's Law of Cures that I write about in my candida articles. Believe me as you build up your immune system your body will normalize so you will be able to taste foods fully again. I had horrible mouth problems, including oral thrush, aphus ulcers, abcesses, canker sores, etc. but they all cleared up! Do not lose hope when you get such symptoms again and again - your body has a reason for retracing previous symptoms so it can remove toxins and re-build the area. It doesn't mean your oral thrush will be the last thing to heal. It is different for each person. The last thing to heal for me was my vaginal yeast, which took me over 2 1/2 years. I had it for over 25 years so it makes sense that it took the longest. The best in health, Bee
