Well, we saved another turkey! Here's what I picked up from the raw restaurant in Seattle this morning. (Yes, they had pick ups for today between 10 - noon. Ordered a couple of weeks ago.)

First Course:

Wild Greens with Apple-Garlic Dressing, Pears, Fennel and Hazelnuts

Carrot-Red Pepper Soup

The Main Course:

Nut, Sage, and Wild Mushroom Loaf with Porcini Gravy

Whipped Parsnip and Oca Mash (don't know what oca is, but they do not mean okra because oca has been used in numerous emails and it is printed on the menu. I'll find out next week what that is.)

Marinated Squash and Winter Veggie Medley

Apple-Cranberry Chutney

Red Pepper Chutney

"Sautéed" Kale

Dessert

Caramel-Apple Crumble with Mesquite Caramel

Gingersnap Pumpkin Pie with Cashew-Tahini Sauce

It was FABULOUS! I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed this meal. And it sure keeps the in-laws away! No one wants to come to our house for dinner. It was a very nice, relaxing day.
