Guest guest
I don't use fat burners, so my only advice there is don't mix them. You're right to wait until you finish one to try another. Betagen contains creatine. It will reduce soreness and increase muscle size and strength. You'll be able to lift heavier and recover faster. That will help with fat burning in a round about way because you'll have more lean muscle (faster metabolism) and be able to train harder (bigger calorie burn). A lot of people wait until they're near their goal weight to use creatine, because getting bigger or heavier will mess up your head if you're a scale watcher. You're not taking anything now that would be a problem with Betagen if you want to try it. Keep in mind that none of these supplements are necessary. Nutrition and exercise is literally 95% of your results. The supplements are just icing on the cake, so to speak. supplement help I feel like I have been reading/posting in this group too long to have such a lame question, however here we go: I am taking a multi vitamin, EAS Ultra BetaTrim(about 4 a day/5 days a week), calcium and iron supplements (I am super amnemic)and I drink an average of 2 Myoplex light shakes a day. Can I add betagen and/or creatine(sp?)to what I am taking without causing any harm--as in, I don't want to be OD'ing on anything? What would my benfits be? I have a lot of weight to lose, if that makes a difference. Also, I recently purchased a 3 month supply kit from EAS which included Therma Dynamix and Results thermogengic fat burner drink (it says to drink b4 or during your WO---0 cals, carbs, protein, ect. I think it has caffine. Equivelent to 1 1/2 cups coffee) I have drank the Results thing 2x so far and am thinking the ThermoDynamix is the same/similar to my Ultra BetaTrim so I am not going to start it until the Ultra is used up. I am thinking that you are 'posed to use the Results drink on the cardio days to give a boost, so that's when I have been using it. Anyone know if this is correct? Sorry this is soooooo long. Thanks for your help and support--this message board ROCKS! Angie in Ia
Guest guest
we just started this diet coming from the SCD diet. we have not had grains in 3 mo. but have had nuts, honey and fruit. so yesterday i had only legal foods and today when i woke up i felt shaky, my heart was pounding and i felt sick to my stomach. so i ate 2 spoonfuls of almond butter then that made me feel even worse and i threw up the almond butter. i had a small slice of apple and some broth and went back to bed. i'm feeling better now after having some eggs for breakfast but my question is what can i do to get through this. i have 2 small children so i can't be in bed all day but i don't want to consume food that's going to aggravate the yeast. what should i do, i'm nursing as well so i can't take mega vitamin doses. thanks sam
Guest guest
thank you both elizabeth and cathe, ooh elizabeth how do you make your deviled eggs? that is such a good idea to keep that in the fridge so i can grab it before i feel bad again! we're back to using ghee again but my boys are waking up at night since adding it back in but i think i'll decrease the dose then work up again. have you started supplements yet? i'm afraid to start them because its like opening a can of worms with my kids. first its ok then it goes down hill fast. thanks again sam > > Hi Sam, > > Try putting more butter in the egg drink, globs (yup, that's what I > tell my kids--here's your glob of fat) of butter instead of pats of > butter on their veggies.
