Guest guest
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could answer two questions for me. First, (and what is prompting me the most to write) is concern that a doctor recently suggested my dad take what seems to me, a huge dose of a Rx time-released naicin (niaspan). I read the candida files on how time-released niacin is bad for one's liver/is more toxic. In addition to that concern, I'm worried at how much he is being recommended to take: start at 500mg and eventually go up to 2500mg per day (what?!). Any thoughts? My second question relates to me--I am still working on my diet percentages (I'm still struggling with reducing carbs as low as they should be and increasing my fats, but I'm getting better). I noticed almost as soon as I started increasing my coconut oil intake that my urine color changed...I *might* notice blood in my urine at times. Not sure. Could this be a healing reaction (I have never had problems in the past with this, ever--it can not be retracing) or something more serious? Has anyone noticed such a symptom when changing their diet? TIA! -kelly --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
