Guest guest
I'm an endurance athlete and often compete in triathlons and adventure races. Prior to each race, I need to carb load in order to increase race day performance. Since I cut gluten out of my diet, I've noticed better digestive performance, but I still don't feel 100% better and am experiencing many conditions which could be caused by candida, so I'm considering trying the diet, but it requires cutting out my main source of carbs (such as rice, potatoes, etc). Has anyone with a very active lifestyle tried the diet? If so, how did they cope with fewer carbs and how did it affect their performance? Any suggestions/input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! - Joanna
