The life and death of bakers yeast

To be honest I don't really care if I eat bread or not, I really

don't even miss it. Where I am coming from now is a stance of

curiousity about the science and a little concreteness of what does

what in the body.

Just recently Bee said that sprouted grains convert from a grain to a

grass/vegetable and I would imagine that that would change the

carbohydrate content (although, I am not 100% on how much). If Bee

says it is O.K. then isn't it in a round about way " part of the plan " ?

On the discussion of yeast, I really am purely curious to know how

it works and if it can live when exposed to high heat. That is my

main question. It would be interesting to know for in the future and

plus it seems that the more knowledgable one is about why they are

doing what they are doing the easier it is to stick. I have been told

to take this pill or do this or that without knowing why and I

thought " are you crazy? "

I trust Bee's info and was wondering if she had any thoughts on the

life and death of bakers yeast. Does anyone know about the validity

of claims that the yeasts die once baked? Thanks!
