taking coconut oil

I was wondering how some of the list members take their coconut oil? I know

we're suppose to work up to 5-6 tbs. A day but eating it from a spoon doesn't

work for me and its making everything taste coco-nutty which I'm not liking very

much. I use the garden of life brand and ordered some from tropical tradition

that's not suppose to have a taste.

Thanks

Hello Sam,

Bee's Egg Drink is a great way to boost your coconut oil. Kids love it

too. I make it up in the morning, have some hot when I make it and

refrigerate the rest in a jar until later on when I need a pick-me-up.

It will separate, so you need to shake it or stir it before you drink

it. It's yummy hot or cold.

Hope this helps!

Hi Bee,

I know this recipe--I make this twice a day. But I thought she said

something about ice cream? How do I make this into that?

Thanks,

I did that, and still couldn't find it. I'll have to look again.

wondering if

Hi Sam,

I know exactly what you mean! I stopped putting coconut oil in my

food, because I can't stand everything tasting like coconut. I

actually prefer to choke down 2 table spoons of it and chase it with

the electrolyte drink at each meal. I'm not sure this is the answer

you were hoping to get. Also, I would be careful consuming deodorized

coconut oil, because it is likely to be processed rather than virgin.

==>Hi . Actually you need to buy coconut oil that is unrefined,

undeodorized, unbleached, unhydrogenated, etc. and expeller or cold

pressed, whether it is virgin or not.

Hi Bee,

I am still learning all the candida semantics and jargon. Thank you

for the correction.

Kind regards,

Hi Carol,

You could melt the coconut oil separately and then pour it over cooked foods.

using it to fry things? Fried foods, even only " sauteed " are pretty bad for me.
