I've known for years that when this area itches the way you describe (I've gnawed, too!!) it means my yeast was acting up. Unfortunately, I never followed through with taking care of my yeast problem until recently. Lately, I've been wondering if the areas that itch don't correspond with the reflexology points on our hands for areas of our body that are affected. For instance, my right palm in the area I've described relates to the upper back, lung, breast and chest. I wonder if that is the area my body is concentrating on fiercely to heal? Just something I'm kicking around in my head. Thumbs have a lot of areas represented--type in 'Dorling Kindersley hand reflexology chart' and you'll find a wonderful interactive picture of your hands that may help you out. I'd be curious to hear if you find any correlations between your itchy spots and areas of your body that are healing. Cathe

Good for you on observing the connection. I don't know exactly that they mean but Cathe's suggestion about points in the hands and feet being connected to different areas/organs in the body could be a clue. Maybe check out hand and foot flexology charts, or even the meridian lines for accupuncture or Shiatzu. Bee
