Guest guest
Hello, Bee. Ever since I developed my IBS problems, I've struggled with problems around the lower right side of my abdomen, where my ileocecal valve is located (connection between my small & large intestines). When I take my hand and massage around or press lightly around that area, there is a very loud gurgling and squishing sound and I can literally feel the liquid contents of my small intestines and large colon squishing around. I have been wondering a lot whether the malfunctioning of this valve is causing me a lot of problems and is part of why I cannot seem to push yeast back to the point where I can progress to stronger anti-fungals, or even coconut oil, since beginning a very low carbohydrate diet over 1 year ago. If the contents of my large intestine are continually being spilled back up into my small intestine, then there will be a constant repopulation of bacteria and yeast into my small intestine, so that no matter how much I attempt to kill them off in my stomach and/or small intestines, they will just keep coming back in. What are your thoughts on this? Why is my ileocecal valve malfunctioning so much and causing me continued diarrhea and loose stools? What steps can I be taking above the diet and supplements portion of the program to help alleviate or correct this? Thanks and regards,
