Guest guest
Hi all, I've noticed something consistent with my bowel movements. A while back I started taking cabbage rejuvelac and my stool immediately turned a distinct yellow colour for a couple of days. It was too soon for me to be taking it according to the program, but I wanted to see what effect it had. So I stopped. However, whenever I start taking large doses of antifungals, I get the same reaction. It's the stool itself, not the accompanying mucous. The mucous is also very yellow at times, again usually when i've started or increased antifungals. What does this mean? I read somewhere (not on this site) that sudden yellowing of the stool is due to a bacterial infection, so perhaps this is what it is - bacteria dying off? Yellow bowel movements indicate less bile is present. Bile causes brown stools. I believe your movements changed to yellow because your liver was working hard to detoxify, so it could result in not enough bile being produced temporarily. The liver had more important things to do. LOL! Since it changed I wouldn't be concerned about it. The best, Bee >
