Guest guest
Lately I have noticed that I can't tolerate eggs! I LOVE EGGS! When I eat them my stomach hurts and I belch. I also seem to have problems with onions and or garlic. I am guessing this is die-off, but damn it these are all my favorites! I am also retracing constipation and like most folks not going makes me miserable. Nothing seems to help. My only relief right now are my weekly coffee enema. Not to be to graphic, but I was in so much abdominal pain the day after the major Niacin flush that I gave myself a water enema. It was the first time it's been painful to expel and it was like a shower of bb's coming out, lol. in NC ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
> > Hi Bee. My name is Fred. I have been on the program very cautiously for 4 months now. I have had my die-off symptoms, worked my way up to 6 tbs of coconut oil, I have been using all the supplements and I have been doing some extra antifungal as oil of oregano and I usually go through every day without too much fatigue or other symtoms. +++Hi Fred. Welcome to our group. > > At first, my meals were quite balance as for fat/protein/carb amount. During this last month, I have been lowering my carb (mostly green steamed veggies) alot to the point where I don't have any, only meat and fat. I was feeling nourished, without lacking anything so I kept eating only meat and fat. Then I ran into Aajonus Vonderplanitz diet and decided to give it a shot to see how I would feel. I must say that eating our food raw make alot of sense to me. After 1 week of only raw meat and raw fat, although I was feeling really great, I got fed up and decided to go back to cook my meat very lightly. +++I'm very familiar with A. Vonderplanitz diet. I don't agree raw foods are good. The Eskimos, who had all meat and fat diets usually cooked them, and only ate them raw when they wern't able to make a fire. +++He also claims meats are raw even when they are marinaded in an acid medium, which isn't true. The acid medium actually cooks meats just like heat does, called denaturing. Also during the digestive process our own bodies denature proteins. Go figure. I usually have a 1 1/2 inch thick steak with less than 1/8 inch being cooked and I like it like that. What seems to be the problem for me right now is that when I have steamed veggies with my meal, I sometimes get really tired after the meal and i can feel the the veggies aren't digesting very well. I was wondering what could be the reason. Am I being less efficient to digest carb? Is my body healed to the point that carb is now bad for me? Could it be the combination of protein and carb do not goes togheter? (I know what have been said about food combining but I do have problems digesting very low carb vegetables with meat now) +++No, when a person's body is healed carbs do not become bad for them. Our bodies are very well-equipped to eat a combination of proteins, fats and carbs, so that's not the issue. > > My position is quite uncomfortable cause I have gained awesome health results following your plan. I am very confused about what to do. What is your thoughts on this? Is anyone else have experienced the same? +++First, you might do better if you cooked your veggies thoroughly, rather than just steaming them, particularly the green leafy vegetables - this article which explains why: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/veg3.php +++Also ensure you are drinking plenty of water with your meals, since having enough water plus stomach acid in the contents emptying from the stomach helps trigger your pancreas to do its job. I've experimented with water, and it makes a big difference when I drink enough water with my meals. +++I hope that helps you. Let me know what helps you, and if it doesn't please get back to me. >Thanks Bee, thanks everyone! You are very welcome Fred. Bee
