Guest guest
Bee, after a year on the diet, I still haven't used probiotics. That's because I went off VCO back in November & am now slowly adding it til I get up to 5 or 6 T. daily. Please remind us why we must be at 6 T's of VCO before taking probiotics. Is it because the probiotics won't help until we're up on VCO ? Thanks. Susiedu

When you are able to take 6 tbl of coconut oil without getting too much die-off you then add one other antifungal. After most of the die-off symptoms have lessened by taking one other antifungal, you then start on probiotics. Re-check my main candida article which explains this. Are they wasting their money ?? Susiedu

I used to recommend that too, but I learned a lot over the years. It doesn't hurt to take probiotics at any time, but they can cause die- off symptoms, and probiotics won't implant in the gut until the high numbers of candida colonies are lower. So, yes, they can be a waste of money. Luv, Bee
