Guest guest
I think this one is going to be for you Bee unless anyone else knows? Soon it will be 3 months on the diet and supplements and I will report back with more detail then. At this point though I am still puzzling around with the coconut oil issue. I was not feeling much different until recently and was getting really sick of being so dizzy and 'head spacey'. This head stuff seemed to start with the diet and coconut oil so decided to drop the coconut oil and see what happened. After three trials it is almost 100% that within 24 hours my head is much clearer. As coconut is supposedly a " food intolerance " (IgG reactive) item for me, there is a nagging thought that I cannot really answer and that is whether the coconut oil is giving me a die-off reaction or it truly is an 'aggravant' of some kind. My ex-doc would say the latter. To test this a bit I decided to stop the VCO and try some clove oil for a week and see whether another 'strong antifungal' would do the same thing as the coconut oil. It did not. I started to feel MUCH better within 24 hours. I had some mild head stuff through the week as was up at two drops of clove oil twice a day after a few days. Once I stopped the clove oil my gut started to really rumble around so decided to add a probiotic/acidophilus in case my flora was going to be even more out of line due to the ant-bacterial effect of the clove oil. Within 24 hours I felt even better! By this time I was feeling almost normal energy levels an almost normal ability to concentrate. Seeing as I have been really struggling with work and trying to make any money with all the dizziness stuff this has been a big relief. But...Ha, like all things, it does not seem to last! My energy levels have stayed at about 95% of normal but the head stuff is back to almost same as when on coconut oil. My gut is very stable on the diet and with the acidophilus, though I tend to drift up on my carbs and protein ratios a bit as otherwise I am always hungry and salivating annoyingly. What do you think??? Think I should just go back to the coconut oil and stay dizzy for not sure how long??? But then without work and without money coming in there will be no coconut oil either! I cannot take on new clients in the big dizzy zone as feel like it is too challenging for me. I cannot find unhydrogenated lard at all; butter is OK I think but is another supposed IgG " reactive food " so that is a nagging thought; olive oil tends to give me an acidic gut, so prefer to keep it to a minimum. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Not quite sure what to do here but need to find a way to progress and yet keep functional too. Has made me want to ask too, how coconut oil came to be the 'primary' antifungal and whether there are some people who just will never do well on it? Would the high fats plus another antifungal do the same thing??? Sorry this got a lot longer than I thought. Best to you all, and Bee no rush to reply or anything as do not want to add to your seemingly very busy situation. Take care, M.
