Guest guest Posted November 17, 2005 Report Share Posted November 17, 2005 Ezekiel's Bread "Take thou also until thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and fitches (rye) and put them into one vessel, and make bread thereof"(Exekiel 4:9). This Ezekiel's Bread recipe is pre-measured for bread machines (this bread does not rise as regular bread, but is a smaller loaf with great texture to the bread). 9-1/2 oz. water 1/4 C. cooked, mashed lentils 2 Cps. whole wheat flour (you can substitute with unbleached white) 1C. barley flour 1/2 C. soy bean flour 1/8 C. millet flour (4 tablespoons) 1 tablespoon rye flour 3/4 teaspoon sea salt 1-1/4 tablespoons olive oil (you can substitute with butter) 1-1/2 teaspoons yeast 4 tablespoons honey (you can substitute with 2 tablespoons apple juice) This bread will supply protien, fat, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, vitamins a, and c, thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin. It is a firm, textured bread, and tastes great. You can buy the different flours and other ingredients at your local health food store.
