Guest guest
I think " Club Soda " is usually just Seltzer water (carbonated water). In that case, " soda " is a misnomer because there are insignificant or no amounts of soda in it. Seltzer water or carbonated water are fine on the diet, even the ones with fruit essences (lemon, lime, raspberry, etc.) There is so little sugar from the fruit flavoring that it's nothing to be concerned about. The three brands I can get around here that contain nothing but carbonated water and fruit flavoring are Canfield's, La Croix and Schweppes. Read the labels carefully. Some other brands find it necessary for reasons best known to them to add aspartame, preservatives and other things.
