Guest guest
As mentioned in the prior post, I had been trying to find out what was causing the zoned, spacey, fog feeling in my brain as it has been steadily getting worse over the past couple of months. Obviously it could be a `die-off' reaction, but that does not make it much fun and it gets tricky if I cannot earn a living because of it. Hence I have been trying a few things to try and change the equation and make it more manageable. The noticeable increase in clarity after exercise on a couple of occasions led me to review what might be happening with that and see if I could build on it. This led through research on sweating; body temp; thyroid; liver; fatigue; and finally Bee's Thyroid-Adrenal files which are excellent! That was an eye-opener as have never seen the contrasts between thyroid and adrenals put in that way and so many of them too. VERY enlightening. I began to take my body temperature and was stunned to see that it was 94.4 degrees Fahrenheit (very low) after spending 20 minutes on the Stairmaster building up a sweat. Yes, my strength that came suddenly with the clove oil trial has not dissipated! Anyway, knowing that body temperature is a key component of the Thyroid mish mash I looked up Bee's file on Adrenal/Thyroid contrast and was intrigued to find that I am almost wholly in the " Adrenal " camp and NOT the " Thyroid " camp. Maybe that is why the thyroid meds trails I did with T4, T3 and combos of the two, did nothing?! To track this a little more I have been taking my temperature with a good oral thermometer numerous times in the day to see if there was any possible relationship to the still intermittent periods of " dizziness " that occur. Now my temperature has been running `cold' for a number of years at about one to two degrees below normal and is usually in the high 96's. This 94's and 95's is rare. Now this is very tentative and is pure speculation at this point but I may be seeing a correlation between the lower temperatures and feeling more spacey and fogged. When I feel almost normal at present, my temperature is in the 97's and even up to 98.3 degrees. [ " Normal " is 98.6 degrees]. Not sure if I am onto something here, but was wondering if anyone else who is experiencing spaceyness, head, or vision symptoms, etc. has low body temperatures as well? I would be very interested to know. Ultimately this may all rectify through the diet and time, but managing the process of getting there is a task in itself. I for one am going to be taking a much closer look at Adrenal aspects and body temperature clues. Good hunting. Best, M.
