Guest guest
Hi all, I looked into the possibility of having candida because when I was pregnant I got a yeast infection, had heartburn and really really dry skin on my arms. Now my baby is 2 weeks old and I'm still not sure if I have a candida problem. The skin on my arms is still really dry and flaky but I only scored a 40 on Dr. Crook's yeast connection quiz. I think that following the diet would be good to some extent, especially eliminating sugars. But I'm wondering if I should give up raw milk. I love to drink the raw milk and feel that I am getting good health benefits from it. Would I need to eliminate the raw milk completely to clear up candida? Should I just make yogurt and eat that instead? Also, do I pass candida onto my baby through breast feeding? I'm just concerned that if I follow a strict diet, that I won't be getting all the nutrients my body needs. Would following the diet sustain a breast feeding mom? Thanks for your thoughts Suzanne
Guest guest
Hi Jackie, thanks for your response. I will look over the posts. As much as I don't want to, I think i'm going to cut out the milk for awhile because my baby has been a bit fussy lately and i want to make sure it's not the dairy i'm consuming. I guess i better work on using Bee's program to strengthen my immune system. No harm in that! > > Hi Suzanne, > > This program is a " natural healing " program would be good for you > whether or not you have candida. Guest guest
> > Hello all, > I suspect that I have a candida infection. All started more than a year ago, with severe ithcing on my skin and very bad welts as a result of stracting. My doctor thought it was allergic reaction to something. Antihistamines would help with these symptoms but this condition did not go away for 6 months - constant itching nad welts. Also had fatigue, bad stomach/intestines, temples hurting, etc. It only went away when I decided to follow a strict diet and eliminated all junk food, drank nothin but water, and ate only vegetables and meat; no fruit, soda, other junk food, no sugar. I've lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks and my itching was gone. I gradually started a normal diet with sugar/junk food. They keep happenning every now and then. Also, I've been experimenting by not consuming any sugar directly, such as soda. After 2-3 weeks without a soda, I consume two cans of soda and I feel toxicated (almost like drunk or dizzy), my itching and welts come back, I cannot focus, my instentines become highly active (growling and moving) and flatulent, my head hurts. I took the survey and it says I most certainly have candida. I did the spit-in-water-first-thing-in-the-morning test and I see the legs and the accumulation of cloudy saliva at the bottom of the glass. +++Hi Das. Welcome to our group. It certainly seems that you have candida. There are no blood or labatory tests that can confirm candida or not, but you can take this questionnaire to confirm it: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro3.php Please ensure you read two important articles so you understand candida, and know what you need to do and why: 1) How to Successfully Overcome Candida http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php 2) Curing Candida, How to Get Started http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php For encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php For people who do not have candida this is the article to read: Foods That Damage, Foods That Heal http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal13.php All the best, Bee
