Guest guest
Hi From what I have worked out Brady's rash was actually an severe allergic reaction to bird lice coming through the air vent into his bed. That would explain rash only being on his arms, legs and face. It got very severe (red skin on legs, itching and white welts) on Saturday took him to the doctor as still didn't know what it was. Gave me script for histamine but didn't fill it and went to health food store and got homeopathic spray for allergies. Saturday arvo got a temperature and his lower legs were burning called an ambulance because Carl was away and my car is off the road. They said watch him and they would be happy to take us all to the hospital later if I needed them. He settled and cooled and had a good nights sleep. Sunday morning after he woke up it got severe again but this time on his arms and elbows like the day before on his legs. He was in so much distress scratching and what I had previously used didn't work so I ended up filling the script for Histamine Medicine because I had no means of any other assistance as everything was closed and Suzi you were away :-( It settled after the initial reaction and he had a sleep and woke up fine. Has been fine since with a couple more doses of histamine medicine. Noticed this morning he has some rash spots on arms and face. ????What can I do to stop this from happening again? Carl covered and taped the vents and I will wash his bed again as soon as weather clears. He is sleeping with us every night. Thanks Tracey
