Hello Bee and everyone,

I'm just looking at the supplements requirments and i realised my cod liver oil

is out of balance with the ratios of D and A etc. I found the page with the

link to cod liver oil supplements, but it's a dead link.

Can you please let me know how to find a good brand of CLO with the right ratios

?

Also, what about GLA's as found in Borage and Evening Primrose ? I haven't

found anything on them yet.

Thanks so much... I am enjoying your site tremendously and appreciate the

comprehensive information. This is the best, most useful website I've come

across in all my time on the internet.

best,

~Leonie (Australia)

Hello Bee and everyone

I would like to know the proper ratio for Vit A and D as well ...... Mine is

made by natural factors and the ND here in London Ont said it was a very good

one so I hope it it ok. I was taking evening primrose oil and pumpkin seed oil

but I've given them up since starting the supplements suggested by Bee. Pumpkin

seed oil is good for killing parasites so I was told.

What about red and yellow peppers are they allowed on the program?

thanks

Maddy

==>Hi Leonie. Here's the cod liver oil section on my website; the

links seem fine:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu6_1_1.php

I suggest you ask other Aussie members to help you, or do a search of

the messages for a good cod liver oil in Australia.

> Also, what about GLA's as found in Borage and Evening Primrose ? I

==>They aren't necessary on this program because GLA is formed by the

body from LA (linoleic acid) which is found in many vegetables and

all meats.

==>Maddy, the ratios of vitamin D, vitamin A and omega 3 are in this

article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cod2.php

Recommended Daily Amounts

Vitamin A: 20,000 IU - 30,000 IU

Vitamin D: 800 IU - 1,200 IU

Omega-3: 2,000 mg - 3,000 mg (see Note)

> What about red and yellow peppers are they allowed on the program?

==>Yes.

> I can't seem to find one here exactly like that, maybe online but

I'm trying to avoid the shipping as it gets costly getting so many

things shipped. I just paid over $50 to have Coconut Oil shipped to

me here in London. I have a Cod liver Oil by Natural Factors Vit A

2500 IU Vit D3 200 IU and no mention of omega 3 or is it a given

that Cod Liver Oil is omega 3. I've checked other ones here and they

all seem to be pretty much the same as the Natural Factors...

==>Hi Maddy. Omega 3 is not a given; it must state it on the label.

You must have bought cod liver oil capsules. You can probably buy

Garden of Life or Carlson's, lemon flavoured liquid; they are on that

list too, but you'll need to take extra A & D with Carlson's. Your

cod liver oil above would do.

==>Maddy, I will need to buy cod liver oil soon, and I just moved to

London. Can you help me find the best stores here? I live not far

from Highbury & Oxford, and the only one I found was Lyn-Dys (?)

Health Store which I find very expensive. In fact, if you don't mind

I would like to call you; if that is okay, can you email me your

phone number.

> Also, Bee is it normal for symptoms to get worse in the first 3/4

weeks as it seems my saliva test are getting worst by worst I mean

more clouded and lots more strings than I had before starting this

program ..... I'm really puzzled and don't know what is going

on ... I'm following things pretty strict especially the diet.

==>Yes it is very normal for symptoms to get worse before they get

better; it is part of the healing process. I suggest you read more

articles about healing and die-off symptoms, particularly this one:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal2.php

==>Here's some more articles on healing:

>

> I was also wondering it there could be something connected to my

meds ..... I take Eltroxin for my thyroid, Micardis for blood

pressure and Crestor my cholesterol ...... have you heard of those

giving problems?

==>All medications are toxic/poisonous to the body. You can go off

Crestor without any ill effects, in fact it is doing more damage to

your body than good. Hopefully you read the articles on what really

causes heart disease, and it is not higher cholesterol readings.

==>Also many people on this group have gone off blood pressure meds

after getting their mineral intake up, which is mainly found in a

good ocean sea salt. By the way, a good salt doesn't cause high

blood pressure like table salt. Table salt is poison, while ocean

sea salt is like our tears, and it contains over 84 mineral essential

to health. Here's a couple of Success Stories by Ellen who got off

blood pressure meds and she attributes it to the ocean sea salt:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/ss23d.php

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/ss23c.php

==>Also low thyroid function is common for candida sufferers. But it

will normalize as you progress on this program, and if you over

medicate the thyroid can go into a tizzy going from low to high, like

mine did when I had candida (I lost my thyroid due to over treatment

when I had candida over 20 years ago). So you should become familiar

with the symptoms of an overactive thyroid so you know when to lower

or go off medications. See this article on the thyroid & adrenals,

and how symptoms can be caused by malfunctioning of both:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu4_7_1.php

==>This is the reason many organs in the body malfunction when you

have candida - see " Candida Causes Cell Membrane Defects " ;

>thanks Bee for all your help

==>You are very welcome indeed!!

Hi Bee,

I've been meaning to write, but have yet to do so as we leave Wednesday for

PEI. There s a decent store called The Quartermaster on Wortley Road. They

have organic food, supplements, and some other things that might interest

you. They are pretty pricey as well, but I don't think they are as pricey

as Lyn-Dys. From you message, I see that you probably haven't checked it

out. The area has also just put out a pamphlet on local farms and there is

one on organic farms in the area. They can usually be found at the entrance

to the various library branches and I have seen them at the local Loblaws.

Some Loblaws and Superstores have NaturaValue sections with limited organics

and supplements and there are a number of other places to get supplements.

There is also an organic delivery service - you can check them out at

www.expressorganics.com. <http://www.expressorganics.com./> I have to

scout out the same sort of thing in PEI next week.

Hope that is a bit helpful -

Hi Bee,

Yes, I have lived in London since 1999 and am moving to PEI this

week! It's always hard to get settled in a new place. I have to get

back to packing. I wish you all the best!
