I would (if it were me) try an electrode of wetted cloth at .5mA at the very tip of the finger (no CS) and the second on the wrist over the radial artery (thumb side pulse point) Dipping finger in CS may actually reduce the effects. DC, I feel, and could be wrong here, but in my own experience, DC is much stronger than CS. You may be bypassing or missing the center of the problem using the method you described. bG > I have continued the .5 mA treatment with my finger > submerged in CS.
