Guest guest
Dear Bee, I have begun doing garlic douching, but see that I might have a hard time getting the acidophilus because most have " other " ingredients. The Solgar that I can get locally has maltodextrin from corn. the following NOW product has potato maltodexrin and the other has the base made from rice bran fat. Could you recommend if either are ok or another brand of pure stuff that I might get online? Thanks a million. http://www.bayho.com/p/826601.html http://www.evitamins.com/product.asp?pid=4173

Look for products that contain different strains like L. Rhamosus, S. Thermophilus, L. Casei and Bifido Longum (L. stands for lactobacillus). I searched for a good product too, but I couldn't find a good one. Maybe the group can help you. I do not take it very often, but I have Trophic Brand, Non-Dairy Acidophilus Plus on hand; I couldn't find it on the internet. There were other types of Trophic Non-Dairy Acidophilus but not the one I buy here in Canada. Of course the very best probiotic is cabbage rejuvelac, and you can put the liquid in a douche too. I think the market for a good non-dairy acidophilus is getting worse since I cured my candida 20 years ago. I used to get a good powder, by SISU which I took in water, and used it in douches. Back then they were in millions of units, whereas now they are in the billions. Now most companies are also adding FOS and inulin, which are sugars. , I suggest you write a message asking for the group's help.
