Guest guest
Hi Bee: This book " The Terrain is Everything " by Suzin Stockton addresses the monomorphic vs pleomorphic germ theories. The title is taken from Pasteur's deathbed recant, saying the Germ Theory was all wrong: " It’s the terrain, not the germ. " Here is the original book on this subject: Hume, E , Bechamp or Pasteur: A Lost Chapter in the History of Biology <http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=2181 & sourceid=115476 & bfpid=1\ 564599272 & bfmtype=book> . Guest guest
Pasteur never said that. He was a scoudral right to the end. The quote was taken from Claude Bernard who stated: " The microbe is nothing, the terrain is everything " . The reference to a death bed recant was by Rudolf Virschow from whom Pasteur purloined the Germ Theory. Vurschow said that if he could live his life over he would devote it to correct his mistake as he felt responsible for many deaths. > > Hi Bee: > > This book " The Terrain is Everything " by Suzin Stockton addresses the > monomorphic vs pleomorphic germ theories.
