Guest guest
Bee ==>You can gradually increase his vitamin C up to bowel tolerance (when he gets loose stools). Some people who are sick like he is, can take 40,000 mgs per day without reaching bowel tolerance. Vitamin C has been used by Orthomolecular Physicians for over 60 years to cure cancer. It is more effective if given intravenously but if you can't get it done, taking megadoses is the next best thing. It is easier to take ascorbic acid crystals mixed in good water than to down so many pills.>> Hi Bee, I have POTS/dysautonomia and have been warned that too much vitamin C can cause hyper stimulation of the adrenals. The citrates have also been implicated. What do you think about this? I have also read that vitamin C is important for the adrenals. I'm confused. Thank you... I recommend 4,000 mg per day of vitamin C and that amount helps the adrenals, and the whole body, without causing the adrenals to become hyper. Candida sufferers do have low adrenal function. Medical labels for symptoms/diseases drives me crazy. They make them sound so important, and unique, when symptoms are nothing more than signs that something is wrong with the body, and nothing more. Therefore the signs/symptoms of POTS are almost identical to many candida symptoms. The medicos are intent on spreading fear! See " Candida Causes Cell Membrane Defect " and it will give you another viewpoint of your situation: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout1.php The best, Bee

I was taking 6,000 mg and I did get stimulated with revved up feeling and palpitations. Not sure, though, if that was a healing reaction or an reaction to the 6,000mg vitamin C. I was also on 8 grams of salt with the Salt C protocol used by some " lymies. " (and I don't like labeling that funnels all thought and all energy into one basket while ignoring th whole body, mind, and spirit and the potential that exist beyond a label such as identifying with a disease or condition so much that one disables their own bodies abilities to heal... and I am not discounting everything we need to do to help our bodies heal) > > Medical labels for symptoms/diseases drives me crazy. It wasnt until she took herself serously and that ironically included a label (because it allowed her to take herself seriously when no one else would as do labels like ADHD allow us to give our kids a break). When she was able to have a name for what she had and allowed herself to believe that it was not in her head, she began to have the hope to get better. Eventually, the medical community caught up with the fact that there are a list of symptoms what they decided could be called POTS or whatever. Then they took people like her seriously. Then people like me come along with the same symptoms, and the doctor no longer says: " Have you seen a psychiatrist? " So I dont think all labels are bad. I think they are part of how our system works. I think the system is tied to an unhealthy paradigm, though. Could it all be candida and or diet, toxin, et al related? Could my frame of mind come to bear in all of it? I have a feeling so. And you are right, if I take the symptoms of messed up adrenals or messed up thyroid, or messed up hormones... I end up with candida or POTS or ???? They all have the same symptoms! My sister somehow healed herself or was healed to where she is functional. She was bedridden and could not take care of her children. How she did that was with body work she did on herself because she had no one to help her believe it or not and with energy work. Somehow her body started healing itself. She is more functional than I am today, and she believes she has dysautonomia. She says its all dysautonomia. To her, that means the body is out of balance. She's had swinging blood pressure that was so wild that the emergency room doctors would throw their hands up in despair. One time they had to call her doctor (at the time the only one who " knew " to diagnose her with dysautonomia and to support her) and he told them: " How many time do I have to tell you people not to try to bring it down or bring it back up. Put her on a sedative and let her body take care of itself. " It worked because everytime they tried to bring it down it would swing back up very high almost in rebellion and visa versa. She felt so abused by all the doctors who basically accused her of being a drug addict or crazy that she fired the medical community and began to talk to her body. And her focus was: I have dystautonomia; my body is out of balance. She learned to listen to her body and hear when it was swinging to far one way and compensate. She learned to talk it down or up. So in this case, the label saved her. Now, what caused the dysautonomia or " dysautonomia " I do not know and cannot say for her. For me, I know something else is causing all this. For her, she/god/angels/the healing energies of the universe healed her of many things, and I'm not sure what is left for her to work on. I think she has lingering issues that she could address with diet. I wish she would listen to me. But hey... who am I to tell her how to heal herself? She had a fall while ice skating with her kids. There was a can that showed injury. She did her own healing thing she does, gets scanned again and its next to gone when it " shouldnt have been " . ????? My thoughts are that we are multidimensional and when I think I have reality pegged, I don't. Modern medicine seems very one dimensional to me at this point. > >Sal
