Guest guest
Hi Bee, I have been battling servere vaginal thrush now for 2 years. I thought it may have been something else, but my papsmear results noted high levels of Candia albicans. I can't even have intercourse with my partner as the pain is so servere it leaves my in agony for days and it's making me serisouly depressed! I've tried all over the counter treatments from monistat to canesten but I've become immune to them. I'm currently on Nizoral tablets as perscribed by the doctor but am having no luck. After reading though your notes, I've realised my diet is serisouly feeding the the yeast in my body! I drink a lot of alcoholand am vegetarian living on soy products. Do you have any suggestions for a vegetarian on the diet? I'm keep tp try your diet and het things right as I can't live like this any more! Thank you so much and looking forward to being a member in your support group. Kindly, Emma

Welcome to our group my friend. I understand how terrible it is for you. I also had vaginal thrush for 25 years before I found out about candida and how to treat it. Thanks goodness it has been cured for over 20 years now. First, Nizoral is very hard on your liver, and none of the antifungal drugs are effective because candida is not cured by " killing it off. " That's why your treatments didn't work, and the thrush came back again and again. Candida can only be cured by building up the immune system with nutrients and by eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida. Unfortunately a vegetarian diet doesn't help you because human bodies all require meats and eggs. Vegetarian foods cannot supply those requirements. We've had many members who were vegetarian, but after seeing how they were making themselves more sick, they did change to this more healthy diet. Also soy is toxic, and very damaging to the body, unless it is fermented, like our ancestors did, for months. The food industry wouldn't take that kind of time for any of their products. Here's some references about the dangers of soy products: http://www.westonaprice.org/mythstruths/mtsoy.html I suggest you read " Myths & Truths About Vegetarianism " too: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods34.php Let me know what you think of the articles. I hope you decide to go on this program and cure your candida like many members of this group have done. The best in health, Bee
