Guest guest
oh man, this seems like a long road. last week we switched from the specific carbohydrate diet to this one. My 5 year old is craving fruit, asking for treats, and actually wanted to brush his teeth mid day with the Tom's of Maine tooth paste - for the sweetness! A few days ago I gave him too much coconut oil, I believe, which caused him to vomit. Poor guy, and he's still not pooping everyday. My almost 2 year old has responded to the diet by still avoiding oil at all cost (butter, olive, butter oil or coconut). Although she did eat alot of cauliflower and rutabega mash with butter for dinner. And she still is pooping only every 2 or three days (and is taking nystatin). Just wants to eat meat and has increased the amount she breastfeeds. Sheesh! Which in turn has made me more hungry and I'm dropping pounds like crazy (I'm a size 4 now). I'm trying to eat as much oil as I can, but I'm having to snack on nuts and nut butter to keep up. I've even eaten some millet and rye crackers with butter because I'm so hungry all the time. Any ideas?
