Hi group/Bee,

Recently I stopped taking some pancreatic enzymes after a discussion

on here about the B-HCL regimen. My digestion went out the window so I

bought some new enzymes. Unfortunately, these weren't the porcine

enzymes I normally take, but a vegetable one derived from a fungus. It

was one that is recommended for autistic people and has a heavy

protease base. I took them for a couple of days. The first day seemed

ok and my digestion improved, then the second day I noticed I was

getting very hungry, even after a meal, and my digestion felt off. I

also noticed I had numerous, large bowel movements that were well

formed. They were yellow, which is something that seems to happen when

I am detoxing heavily. I started getting severe brain-fog and

cognitive symptoms, and have generally felt off since. I have stopped

taking them a week ago and am back on the porcine enzymes, but my

digestion is still out. Sometimes a meal sits well, but mostly it

doesn't. My stools have improved and no undigested food is getting

through, but I still get severe indigestion and the last two nights

i've had to sip some bicarb of soda to settle my stomach. Today, i've

been bloated and haven't been able to eat dinner as i'm not in the

slightest bit hungry and am still bloated and uncomfortable. Vitamin C

was noticeably helping. I have been going to the toilet about every

two hours and pass a small motion each time. I feel slightly better

after each movement, but then start feeling off again.

Did those enzymes screw up my stomach, or is this die-off? I've read

that some enzymes are supposed to help kill candida by breaking down

the outer layer of candida to allow the antifungals to kill the cell.

Thanks heaps,

Matt
