Guest guest
Hi Cathe, I know it's been a while since you posted this but thought I would chime in. My naturopath friend in Germany recommended this to me last year before I found this group. Had never heard of it before and didn't stick with it, mostly because I forget. She recommended it to me again just a few days ago and reading your post I think I will give it another try. Are you still seeing good results with it? a > > Does anyone on here oil pull? Guest guest
Hi Doug, I am not sure how Cathe is doing on the program but I know for myself, with continued pain - daily, fatigue, reactions to food, depression, and more after being on the program since November last year and not getting relieved, I am more inclined to try something like this that doesn't really go against Bee's program. When you're not seeing ANY results it gets pretty frustrating. a > > I just did a google search as you suggested and it was about the 6th > article down. http://www.lisabarger.com/oil_pulling_debunked.html > > When I asked " what havent' you tried, " I was referring to the fact it > seems like you've tried every alternative treatment on planet earth, > even things like this I've never heard of! > > Doug > > > > > Doug, > > > > Can you provide a reference for the article you sent? Guest guest
Hi a, I am doing this hit or miss lately as I just started a job last week and am still getting used to getting up early. And the last couple of days I have had bad tooth pain so I may just give the oil pulling a rest in case that's aggravated it. I switched to coconut oil and liked the taste better, but felt I got better results with the olive oil! Sorry you're still not feeling as well as you'd like to. I am, for the most part, feeling better but I do have my limits and my share of healing aches and pains. Guest guest
Hi Kathleen, I will try to stay with it. I was a forceps delivered baby, so that too may have something to do with the depression. I feel in my bones that it definitely had something to do with it (my sinus bones, to be exact!!) Guest guest
Thanks for bringing up the subject of oil pulling, Cathe. I have been swishing with coconut oil at least twice a day for the past 6 days. It has helped reduce the mucous in my throat and sooths my irritated throat greatly. Wow, I can't believe the results that I'm getting from this! I will definitely keep it up! Thanks again.
