It cannot be avoided. The thing to do is to start with small amounts that don't create intolerable symptoms, and gradually increase them. Some people have to start with 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. 3 times a meal and always with complete meals that contain protein. However it isn't possible to avoid all symptoms, since the healing process means there will be reactions, which are a good thing, even if they aren't comfortable. Sometimes a person has to " push through " some symptoms caused by healing foods like coconut oil and butter in order to heal their bodies. See these article about the healing process: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu1_2.php You said in your other message you only have olive oil and safflower oil. Your body requires saturated fats like coconut oil, butter, lard, etc. - all cell membranes must be made out of 50% saturated fat (lung cells require 100%) in order for them to be normal and healthy. Olive oil is good, but safflower oil is an unnatural oil that is just like eating plastic and they are very toxic, i.e. canola, safflower, soy, mazola, margarine, shortening, etc. See these articles: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods14.php http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/fats5.php http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/fakefats.php The best, Bee
Guest guest
Hi Bee, This might be a stupid question, but when you say that lung cells need 100% saturated fat, do you mean no other fats should be in your diet until your lungs are healed . And how do you know when that's occurred. And is there any room for error in this. Sometimes when you're out or at someone else's house you might think you know all the ingredients in something but there might actually be something unknown in a dish. No I don't mean you would have no other fats; your body requires a mixture of " good " fats, and all fats are actually a mixture anyway. You know your lungs are healed when you don't have any more lung symptoms, other than the occasional cough that just clears out toxins from the lungs or throat. Don't be concerned about something you might get accidently. If you stick to the diet 95% of the time you'll do fine. Luv, Bee
Guest guest
This in particular, concerns me because my lungs are my weak area. When I was 8 or 9 I had something that the doctors said was close enough to pneumonia to treat it that way but they couldn't say for sure that it was pneumonia. So I was in hospital for 2 weeks on antibiotics and ever since have had something bronchitisy every single year of my life. I'm 47. My worst symptoms currently are breathing difficulties and chest pain (like muscle pain)and coughing. It scares me. My mom died in hospital, indiagnosed, drowning in lung fluid. It was horrible and my symptomology closely resembles hers. I just want to do the most for my lungs that I can. It feels very scary to not be able to get enough oxygen sometimes.
