Dear Bee,

While I suspected I had systemic yeast for quite a time, I really

started to worry about my overall health when I noticed my nails had

vertical lines down them.

I have heard that this is a sign of malnutrition. I still suffer with

this. Do you have any knowledge about what nailbeds can tell you

about health?

Thanks!

Hi . Yes I have knowledge about the condition of nails and what

they indicate. But I don't have my files here to give you a

reference. There is a lot of information on the internet listing what

nails look like and what they indicate in health problems; some lists

are more accurate than others.

But overall proper balance nutrition will correct any nail conditions.

It can throw off balances if a person trys to treat themselves

according to their nails. For example white spots on the nails can

indicate a lack of zinc, but they are also caused by nail injury.

However, zinc is only required in trace amounts, and taking too much

can throw off mineral balances.

The best, Bee
