Guest guest
I would guess that because they have identified a type of CFs that is autoimmune in origin, this represents reseach in itself. I hope and assume they will be doing additional research but this is not one of the areas of research I would hold my breath on. Steve B. autoimmune > Is their any research being done specific to CFS > Steve > > > > This list is intended for patients to share personal experiences with each other, not to give medical advice. Guest guest
I dont think it is autoimmune. I think you are suffering from adrenal exhaustion. There is a book called the schwarbien principle. You should checkout it out as well as the diet cure. They both address adrenal exhaustion. Vitamin C is excellent for adrenals, but you would probably need to take at least 5000-10000mg spaced over a day. If you do have exhausted adrenals or burnt out adrenals then the cardio is what is killing you. That will exhaust your adrenals even more. Maybe try sticking with the weights for a week or two and see if you feel better. Another avenue you could checkout is your hormones. An amazing book that anyone should read over the age of 20 is " what your doctor may not tell you about perimenopause " by dr. john lee. This book is excellent and has tons of good information. It is not just about menopause. This could be the problem as well. A common syndrome most women suffer from and dont even know is " estrogen dominance " . You can look it up on google there is a ton of info. Lastly have you ever been tested for allergies? This could also be the culprit. Allergies can make you extremely tired becuase if you are feeding your body foods that it is allergic to quite frequently then it is expending extra energy eveyr day to try and eliminate them. Anywho just my two cents.
Guest guest
Jinny, The Immune Diseases can be a WHOLE map of things which connect to some sort of Cure. I do know a few Families which have more than 1 child with Juvenile Arthritis. I also know 2 sets of Twins who have Juvenile Arthritis. Diabetes is a trace so far I know is in the Family of a Juvenile Arthritic child. NOW the thing is to go to a Genetic Dr and get your child tested. They will do a Family Tree to see what people have in the family. Along with some labs and then let you know more when results come back. Its worth your time to go to one. My daughter has Juvenile Arthritis my Mom had Diabetes Connection. I did a lot of research into this. I have a Sister who has Diabetes and Arthritis, I have another Sister with Arthritis and another Sister which Arthritis. When your doing this type of Research you go on the Female to Female connection. As this is more connective. BUT There's also Male to male as well it does get alittle more Complicated with Generation to Generation. As you may not have it every generation as I found a Distant Cousin who has Rhuematic issues who died with this. So as you go through the Family Medical History look closely at old photos. as well as how each are related. Interesting to do. RobbinSee what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
I think the whole autoimmune thing is interesting. My family , mothers and fathers sides, have some type of autoimmune diseases. My fathers family is full of diabetes and my paternal grandma had arthritis as a young adult. We also are of Native American heritage which tends to have autoimmune history. My moms side has several forms of arthritis but one were juvenile dx's.......My son has asthma but so does his dad and thus far my other son is healthy....but still it is all very interesting to me DonnaSee what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
Donna, Interesting is Right lolol. I look for as much info on Autoimmune issues. Native American History is in both sides here as well. My Hubby has Creek and Seminole Indian and on my side it is Cherokee. But also add Irish and German as well lololol. and my son both have the light skin. Where Me Hubby and Me are darker skinned. Odd How the kid's came out with Blue eyes and me blue eyed but hubby is brown eyed. lololol. I even have traced who had what color hair and eyes. Tallness as well. Most all the women were short. Since Mom was 4 ft 9 and then she had Me and I am 5ft 2 I was taller than her but the rest of my siblings are taller than me. is shorter than me but still was taller than Mom. Oddly enough Hubby is 6ft 4 inches and he was the tallest of his Family. lololol. Looking at Pictures of our ancestors is amazing to me. My son has long fingers and skinny as a bean pole but right at 6ft. lololol. I do hope they get started heavy with the DNA Genetics as this just might be the way to a Cure.
