Guest guest
My D.O. is treating me currently for Candida. I'm so, so much better then I was. I still have a lot of food sensitivities but atleast I feel normal again. Anyways, I asked her about birth control. I have heard that it can be negative in regards to candida. But she said that she was okay with it. And that if one's body was balanced properly, and continued to be balanced properly that it would be fine on a low-dose birth control pill like Yaz. What do you think?
Guest guest
My opinion is that if your sensitive to yeast I would never use bc pills. Three days after they put me on bc my life changed forever. If you look up on the web, there are websites from people who get all kinds of weird symptoms from them. An iridologist told me I was poisoned by the bc. Sorry I hope its ok that I responded. christie [ ] Birth Control Pill My D.O. is treating me currently for Candida. I'm so, so much better then I was. What do you think? Hi there. Welcome to our group. Birth control pills, like all drugs, are toxic/poisonous to the body, so they will interfere with curing candida. For better birth control see " Alternative Birth Control Options " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/res1.php Bee
Guest guest
I'd like to comment about birth control pills, too. I was on them for 3 years in my early 20s and gained weight, had cystic acne, felt suicidal, hair turned grey, and I felt awful. It really set off my candida symptoms and I haven't been the same since. My sister, a non-smoker, took a very low dose pill for about 5 months in her mid 20s and got a blood clot in her leg which nearly killed her because of pieces that broke off and traveled to her lungs. She still has it 13 years later and it is still quite painful. She has to be very careful that a piece doesn't travel to heart or brain which could mean a heart attack or stroke. In my humble opinion, avoid taking hormones like the plague. > > My opinion is that if your sensitive to yeast I would never use bc pills. Three days after they put me on bc my life changed forever. Do you think that I should up any of the supplements due to this? +++Hi . No, you do not need to increase any supplements. Bee
