Guest guest
OK so I went to see my dr before I left and he had no clue how to test the biotin level and suggested the cheapest thing would to be to start taking biotin and change how I prep my egg recipes. So I have done both. In the meantime.... I have had neurotransmitter testing done. I was off balance on all but 3!Including my adrenals are running REALLY low. So my doctors biochemist has added a few things to my regime(all natural) to support some neurotransmittor and suppress others. Each one that is out of whack explains all the mental health symptoms I have been dxed with over the years including past seizures. 2 that really stiuck out was that my glutamate is really high so we are trying to get that down and my PEA(chemical in the brain that keeps it active and alert) was 3125 when the high range is 450!! Both my dr and my biochemist can not figure out how i sleep. They said I shouldn't be able too at that level but guaranteed that I was not getting quality sleep. Another was that my histamine levels were high which I was told causes inflamation(pain like fybromygia). I realize that all these things can be off from the yeast but it was amazing to see it all broken down and explained! We keep hearing the term die off and I think that this is it. The toxins are throwing our neurotransmittors way off which messes everything up!! My question to you Bee is there an article on bio identical hormone therepy? This is something else they want to add. I have tried to just stick with your program alone but I have hit a wall and figure their treat(except for the hormones) are right along with what you talk about. Part of the wall I have hit is that I have been throwing up more(rarely did I do that before) and my energy is so low I am having trouble taking care of my son who is now 22 months. I have been on the program since dec 26th 07. My biochemist has said the throwing up is when my body is running out of glygogen(sp?) and then sending out adrenaline in large quanities and that is getting me ill. So while on vacation I have had to add in some blueberries to insure I do not get ill in the middle of the airport(one batch hold me for a couple days it seems and I have some enerrgy)(are we to wait to add foods till all yeast symptoms are done or slowly add as we feel better?). I have also been trying to increase my vco intake but I have taken it so long that it is now making my stomach turn just looking at it so when that happens I try to increase the fake cream (can't seem to get enough of it) but becuae it has butter instead of vco it does not have the same effect on my energy it seems. So when I get home I will try making the fake cream with some vco in it. I am also considering living off a liquid diet for 1-2 weeks becuase I am still not handling veggies. One last thing... I will be getting a blender that will handle the cabbage rejuv come oct until then could I just drink the juice from my homemade saurkraut? If so how much? I do have an old juicer that might get more juice from the sauerkraut but not from the freash. Thanks so much Kara Sorry so long I do not get much time to type at home anymore. So I have done > both. +++Hi Kara. You must have missed some messages on this group, because there was one that defuted all the claims that avidin in eggs could cause a biotin deficiency. One man was eating over 40 raw eggs per day and didn't have a biotin deficiency. Maybe you can find that message in the archives. > > In the meantime.... > > I have had neurotransmitter testing done. We keep hearing the > term die off and I think that this is it. The toxins are throwing our > neurotransmittors way off which messes everything up!! +++Yes, candida toxins do interfere with many functions in the body, which is because it causes cell membrane defects - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout1.php That's why it is so important to treat the " cause " and not the symptoms, like imbalances in nutrients and hormones. The body will adjust and balance itself out if given proper nutrients. > > My question to you Bee is there an article on bio identical hormone > therepy? This is something else they want to add. +++No, I don't have a specific article about them, but you can read some of these articles which will help you understand why I do not recommend any hormones: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu4_10.php > > I have tried to just stick with your program alone but I have hit a > wall and figure their treat(except for the hormones) are right along > with what you talk about. My biochemist has said > the throwing up is when my body is running out of glygogen(sp?) and > then sending out adrenaline in large quanities and that is getting me > ill. +++You can't possibly run out of glycogen on this program - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods22.php +++You are probably throwing up because you do not have enough hydrochloric acid in your stomach - see Improve Digestion in " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " . So while on vacation I have had to add in some blueberries to > insure I do not get ill in the middle of the airport(one batch hold me > for a couple days it seems and I have some enerrgy) +++Good fats I recommend are the very best and most efficient source of energy which do not tax the body's resources. They also do not require hydrochloric acid, pancreatic enzymes nor bile in order to be absorbed. (are we to wait to > add foods till all yeast symptoms are done or slowly add as we feel > better?). I have also been trying to increase my vco intake but I > have taken it so long that it is now making my stomach turn just > looking at it so when that happens I try to increase the fake cream > (can't seem to get enough of it) but becuae it has butter instead of > vco it does not have the same effect on my energy it seems. +++Because of your symptoms you shouldn't can add any foods yet. > So when I get home I will try making the fake cream with some vco in it. I am also considering living off a liquid diet for 1-2 weeks becuase I am still not handling veggies. +++That's a good idea since coconut oil and butter work together. I suggest you do the 9-day program, and possibly stay on the puree foods for longer. However after 9 days you should do the enemas every 4-5 days. > One last thing...
