Hello and all,

If you are having trouble keeping food down because of an upset tummy,

morning sickness or what ever the case may be, try making some Bieler's

Broth. I have recommended this to many people over the years and it has

helped, when nothing else would did, especially with many who tried it

for morning sickness, so it is worth a try.

Hope this helps! :-)

Dr. Bieler's Health Broth

Adapted from " Food is Your Best Medicine " (see below)

Wonderful for a Fall or Winter Detox

* 3 stalks of celery

* 3 whole zucchini

* 2 cups of string beans

* 1 cup of parsley

Dr. Bielers famous health broth recipe for energy, weight loss, and

cleansing too.

Put 1 cup of water into a stock pot. Put the string beans in first and

steam for about 5 minutes. Then put celery and zucchini into the pot

and steam for another 5 - 7 minutes or until tender, but still crisp.

Do not overcook. When done put the water that the vegetables have

cooked in into the blender. Follow with the vegetables. Blend until

liquefied. Add a teaspoon of raw unsalted butter and a large handful

of parsley. Blend again until parsley is liquefied.

*Optional add 1 clove of garlic.

*Use organically grown vegetables whenever possible! Enjoy!

Debra...

Thanks for the recipe. Sounds like a good beginning when I start up

again and Bieler is a reliable source for sure. My issue is not keeping

stuff down, it is the darn pain that comes from the " muscle lock " . When

it sets in there is no gas, no rumbling, no constipation, no diarrhea,

nothing seemingly wrong...just pain, and a hard gut. Then that kicks

other stuff out of whack and the merry-go-round has a field day.

Bland, bland veg broth soon to come. Thanks again...

M.
