Guest guest
1) Wondering which is a better choice? I have read cultured butter is better, but I can only find that pasteurized. I can get raw butter from organic pastures, but its not cultured. Won't the lactose content be higher is its not cultured? 2) Bee, is there a way to tell whether you are having a die off, or a certain food is aggravating symptoms. I am wondering this specifically with butter and lactose content. I can't tell if I am having a die off, or if it is actually increasing candida. How can I tell? Sx are mostly extreme hang over/groggy, tightness all over body esp in my nervous system, muscles, joints, edema of eyelids, and asthma/allergies. thanks! Pasteurized cultured butter is okay to have, but raw butter is always best, in whatever form it is, cultured or uncultured. No, the lactose content is not higher if it is not cultured. > > 2) Bee, is there a way to tell whether you are having a die off, or a certain food is aggravating symptoms. +++It is important to understand that good unadulterated foods do not cause adverse symptoms of any kind. Our bodies are designed by nature to have them in order to be healthy. However, because some foods contain nutrients and antifungal, antibacterial, etc. properties the body requires in order to heal properly, such foods may create healing symptoms. +++For example: eggs are high in sulphur (one of the 7 macrominerals required by the body) and sulphur is also antifungal. Some people will get healing/die-off reactions when they eat eggs because the sulphur in them is killing off candida, and possibly other bacteria. +++Butter is also antifungal so some people may react to it with die- off symptoms. Cinnamon and many spices and herbs are also antifungal. +++The way to consume such good foods without getting too many die- off symptoms or healing reactions is to start with small amounts and only gradually increase them. I am wondering this specifically with butter and lactose content. +++The rule about lactose is: " The higher the butterfat content, the higher the lactose. " That is why butter is okay, and other dairy products aren't. Also butterfat helps the body digest lactose. I can't tell if I am having a die off, or if it is actually increasing candida. How can I tell? Sx are mostly extreme hang over/groggy, tightness all over body esp in my nervous system, muscles, joints, edema of eyelids, and asthma/allergies. +++You are definitely having die-off/healing/detoxifying symptoms (they are actually all the same thing). To understand more about die- off/healing symptoms and reactions see: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal2.php +++Also read all about Healing Naturally: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu1_2.php Also " supposed " allergic reactions are exactly the same list as healing reactions - see " Alergies, What They Are & How to Treat Them " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/allergy1.php Bee
