Guest guest
" NFS " or " NS " shows when something is not further elaborated or detailed or if you are not sure. Like " ice cream, nfs " would be ice cream, no particular flavor specified. Or perhaps it is " Beef, NS as to cut " means you don't know if it was chuck or what. Or with Milk NS, you don't know if it was low fat, or skim or what. HTH Astrophe

Guest guest
Yes I looked at it. Looks good. I think Calorie King is like that too, but it is like $20 a year. I might rejoin that. I liked it when I was a member of it. The nutrional value of stuff is outrageous!! But, ive noticed..if i start cooking at home and not going out..i can reduce alot of fat and calories by cooking the same thing..just changing things here and there to reduce everything! I liked it when I was a member of it. I switched from FitDay to Calorie King. I use the online version & downloaded the one to my pc. I'm thinking about getting the one for my PDA for when I travel. I have found I have been more diligent using CalorieKing than I did with FitDay. But whatever works for you is the best one to get. Dacia <>< The Word became a human being. He made his home with us. Guest guest
Hi again, Bee, But what about large quanities of things? Is it impossible to do what I suggested below? It lets me create foods like the egg drink, but that's for one serving. I want to be able to put in the ingredients for a large recipe, and then hav e it tell me the nutrition in say, 2 cups of a stew. I am afraid I am not making sense in my question. -Rhe > > > > Here's my FitDay question: > > If I make a big pot of stew, say with 4 lbs beef, 2 onions, 2 large > > eggplant, beef stock, butter, I'd like to be able to make it into a > > custom food: " beef stew with eggplant. If you set it up so you have say 6 cups for the total custom food, and want to select 2 cups enter .33 (for 1/3 of 6 cups). Bee
Guest guest
Rhe.. look at Living Cookbook software: http://www.livingcookbook.com/ You can do what your asking about in that, then enter it into FitDay. Good luck! > > Here's my question: > If I make a big pot of stew, say with 4 lbs beef, 2 onions, 2 large > eggplant, beef stock, butter, I'd like to be able to make it into a > custom food: " beef stew with eggplant. Guest guest
Thanks, Bee. I will try this again, as well as 's suggestion of Living Cookbook software: http://www.livingcookbook.com/ I do not have time right now to do it, but I want to figure it out! If anyone else wants me to report back on how either of these things work, please let me know. --Rhe > > > > > > Hi again, Bee, > > > > But what about large quanities of things?
