Guest guest
Thanks Debbie. My doc also said that what could I expect being so over weight. Of course this is the doc who told me to quit eating and then I wouldn't get sick and I'd loose some weight. I really want to go back to Pittsburgh but I can't get a referral so my insurance won't let me. I hope to have lost most of the weight by the end of summer even if I have to wire my jaw shut!!!!!!! Guest guest
I keep getting sick when I eat and I take phenergan almost every day sometimes up to 3x's a day. If I wanted to gain weight it would fall right off me now all I do is walk by the food and it zaps me. Hope you feel better soon.
Guest guest
I want to share here about the fatty liver thing. When I first was having problems with my liver counts, my “doctor” ordered an ultrasound. When I came back to the office for the “results” it was the LAST time to see this person. She looked at the result, and said...”it says that you have a fatty liver” (pause, then looked up at me and said), “But THAT is obvious.” I wanted to slap that silly “doctor” in the face! OK, so I am fat…HOWEVER, with more testing and surgery, it was determined that there was LITTLE fatty infiltration. There has never been a dx of fatty liver at all with me…so just because one is overweight, it does NOT mean you have a fatty liver. YET, weight does often tend to contribute to fatty liver, but it is not always the cause! Debby Re: [ ] Fatty Liver Thanks Joanne I found the info real informative. I am trying to lose weight. The first 30lbs came off pretty easy but the rest is taking forever. I hope to lose at least another 70lbs by the end of summer. I hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying the summer. Guest guest
Oh , you are so funny. I have lost 30 pounds since December, and it is simply because I have no appetite. To eat is just too much effort. If I get some food in me during the day, I am happy. The biggest reason is that my stomach just plum hurts. But right now, I am NOT complaining about the weight loss. With luck, I will lose another 30 over the next few months! Debby Re: [ ] Fatty Liver Thanks Debbie. My doc also said that what could I expect being so over weight. Maybe I didn't ask it correct. ==>No, it won't lead to a fatty liver, in fact my program helps a fatty liver because of its high natural fats which cleanse and help the liver function the way it should. Fatty liver may have many causes and here's one from Dr. Mercola, which points to sugar: http://www.mercola.com/2006/nov/14/how-soft-drinks-damage-your-liver.htm Bee
