Bee,

Would it be OK to add some drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract to the

salt water to help eliminate molds?

Thanks,

+++No, do not add anything to the salt water when soaking nuts. Only

use proper sea salt. Anyway, nuts do not acquire molds during the

soaking and drying stages; they can acquire molds later when keeping

them in the refrigerator, particularly if they are not thoroughly

dried. I usually start air-drying with only the oven light, but

because nuts can easily burn I finish the drying process by air drying

them. It has always worked well for me, and they haven't gotten moldy

in the fridge.

The best, Bee
